Why our warranty is different
Every other company can walk away. We can't — and we don't want to.
When a manufacturer sells through a dealer network, warranties get muddy fast. The moment a third-party installer touches the shade, the manufacturer has an out. "Installer error." "Homeowner environment." "Not covered." The dealer points at the factory, the factory points at the dealer, and the homeowner is stuck.
We lived that story. Before we started manufacturing, we bought shades from other companies — and we could never get a defect covered. So we built our own factory, hired our own installers, and put the warranty entirely on us.
When something goes wrong with a Shade Co shade, there's no finger-pointing. We built it. We installed it. We fix it. In-house, quickly, without a hundred excuses.
